Ozone is a molecule made up of 3 oxygen atoms (O3), and scientific studies have shown that it is the most powerful oxidant known to date. It is found naturally in the lower layers of the atmosphere and acts as a shield that protects the planet from the sun's ultraviolet rays. Ozone therapy preparations are diverse, including ozonated water, ozonated oils, or oxygen-ozone mixtures.
